Boadillas del Camino - Carrion de Los Condes    26.5kms

The albergue last night was quite nice. Greet meal and very nice facility. I'm including a couple of photos.....Les wants all to know that she does not mind communal sleeping - she is doing quite well. It seems that 15 days into these arrangements, folks learn how to pack and get about without disturbing others too much. Everyone still is up by 6:15am. I must admit even we are getting up earlier and walking before sunrise. Nevertheless, we are still among the last to leave.
Today's walk was not as scenic, but still nice - cool and blustery. Walked along a canal for while and then a road - this later part not all that nice. We did see a couple of extraordinary Romanesque churches on route....Les still walks way too fast-we arrived in a Carrion in just a bit more than 5 hours of walking. In a fit of luxurious indulgence we are sleeping tonight in our own room with its own bathroom. For a grand total of 40 Euros it feels like a 5 star resort. We have also caught up with many of our Camino family from a week ago. Hugs and kisses all around. We should all be on a similar pace to Santiago.
The outlook calls for rain the next few days, so we shall see how that goes - especially since the first 17 kms is without a town to stop.
15 days into this journey. Tomorrow we will  pass the half-way point. All good.
